Project Manager – Hybrid

  • London
  • £70,000 - £80,000 per annum

Take full ownership of internal glazing and glass partition projects by shaping them with your ideas from day one.

You will get the freedom to run projects your way, plus direct access to senior leadership and a clear path to directorship within two years. Work how and where you do best, with hybrid flexibility (mixture of site or home working) that’s rare in construction.

And because this is a small, fast-growing business, your input won’t just be heard it will help shape the whole delivery process.

What you’ll do

Lead internal glazing, glass partition, and fire-rated glass door projects from planning to completion, keeping everything on time and within budget. You’ll coordinate work from pre-construction surveys through to installation and handover, making sure standards stay high and everything runs smoothly.

You’ll work closely with clients, architects, contractors and suppliers, leading site meetings and progress reviews, ensuring the sequencing of work is kept up to date with look aheads and drop lines.

Keeping an eye on budgets and costs will sharpen your commercial skills. You’ll handle cost estimates, purchase orders, and monitor spending, while managing contractual changes and variations.

Quality and compliance will also be under your control. You will inspect materials and workmanship, coordinate snagging and close-out, and make sure everything meets health, safety and environmental standards.

What you’ll need

  • Experience in glass, architectural glass and internal glazing projects
  • A strong track record in managing construction or fit-out projects
  • Leadership skills and the ability to take ownership of project delivery

With centralised procurement and group buying power, you will be be set up to succeed from day one. Plus, the team is close-knit and supportive, giving you the backing you need to thrive.

I have worked in construction recruitment since I graduated and like most it was a role I fell into, that said, once I secured my first role in recruitment I realised very quickly I had found my calling in life. Helping other people, both clients and candidates, whilst making good money. At that time, I worked with main contractors, focused in London and the South East. Due to market demands and a gap in the market, 11 years ago I decided to focus within subcontracting fit out as I found working with SME companies more personal. This has evolved over the years to encompass both facades and fit out within a subcontracting environment. As I come into my 16th year in construction recruitment, I can honestly say I absolutely love my job. I work in a very open and honest way, sometimes to my detriment however I have to stay true to my moral standards. I consider myself very well networked within my market, I have worked with my key clients for many years, which has given me great insight into the subcontracting market. Feel free to contact me if you’d like to talk.
